Marketing Plans for Therapists and Healers

We help therapists, personal trainers, chiropractors, acupuncturists and other healers develop marketing plans that match their personal style and preferences. Most healers love helping clients yet avoid marketing, finding it either off-putting or completely mysterious. They wonder if they should go to lots of networking events or pay for expensive ads but wish there was an easier way.

As healers and coaches, our success actually begins when we tear up our marketing to-do list. We guide clients to identify their core strengths and speak confidently about what they distinctively bring to their clients. We believe that your marketing strategy should match your personality. For example, introverts aren’t urged to attend countless tiresome networking events. They are better off investing their time in one or two organizations that they enjoy and working on a website with high-performance SEO (search engine optimization) that easily leads clients to their doorstep.

At the close of each session, we will identify clear action steps and strategies to ensure consistent follow through. As a result, you can earn a livable income doing what you love building a practice that makes you proud.

Marketing Plan in Five Steps

In individual sessions or in the Marketing Mastermind Group, we guide practitioners through the following steps:

  1. Begin by committing to a purpose/goal (measurable outcome) of your marketing plan that is attainable in less than one year. Identify when you intend to reach this goal.
  2. Specify the services and/or tools you provide, articulating 3 core strengths and benefits without worrying about the wording.
  3. Finalize and use your basic message in both formal and informal settings.
  4. Identify your target market or market segments for the purpose of this plan (examples: local restaurants with at least 3 locations, healthcare professionals earning more than $60K, mid-size non-profits and leaders of mission-centric businesses, people who regularly invest in alternative healing, people who live in NE Portland, etc).
  5. Delve into promotional/marketing strategies (usually about four). Each strategy leads to specific promotional activities.
